Job Description
· Capture business requirements for analytics and translate complex ones into technical requirements. Collaborate with the team to design & implement end-to-end solutions.
· Design, build dashboards and standard reports in Power BI.
· Perform data quality audits, identify data collection issues and suggest/implement fixes.
· Work closely with internal and external clients to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of business analytics and reporting solutions.
· Backup data from different data sources to a data lake on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
· Apply data mining, data modelling, and statistical methods to analyse data, perform source to target mapping to business needs, identify discrepancies in data, transform, summarize data to build visualization; create dashboards and refresh accurate data.
· Create basic to sophisticated ad hoc report requests: Use insights from data exploration to prepare a strong sense of visual design, creative visualizations and PowerPoint reports for clients requesting the data.
· Manage delivery of dashboards and reports to executives and other stakeholders in the company
· Ensure data provided in reports and dashboards are highly accurate and reliable.
· Assist new users and business partners with onboarding, troubleshooting, training, and orientation.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computational Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
· Demonstrated analytical experience with one or more of the following business subject areas: marketing, finance, sales, product, customer success, customer support, or HR.
· Passionate about data, analytics, and automation.
· Advanced skills and practical experience using analysis software, such as MS Power BI (preferred)/Tableau/ Google Analytics/ Excel.
· Able to write complex SQL including multi-table joins, grouping and aggregation, common table expressions, and conditional filters.
· Experience with any or all Python libraries for Data Science: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit learn, etc.
· Internship or academic experience and/or certifications using cloud services: Azure, AWS, etc.
· Design, code, and implement Power App and Power Automate products interfacing with SharePoint sites is a plus.
· Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and delivery.
· Work within the organization to establish and grow best practices and procedures with a focus on improving the ability of the organization to meet deliverables.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies.
